Research strategy is a direct expression of the strategic direction that the University periodically formulates within the Strategic Plan. The research strategy is also based on the principle of respecting the disciplinary diversity present at the University, which reflects the research interests of faculty and researchers from all disciplines belonging to the Research Structures.

 

In particular, the University’s vision and policies focused on quality aim to strengthen the promotion of scientific research and its social impact at LUM University. In line with the values and mission of the University, the research strategy should prioritize the relationships between LUM University and its stakeholders, as well as innovation in research activity management models. Therefore, the research strategy can be articulated through the following objectives:

  1. Enhance the competitiveness at the national and international levels of the key research actors at LUM;
  2. Increase the ability to attract new human resources (researchers, doctoral candidates), both nationally and especially internationally, with proven talent in all scientific areas;
  3. Enhance the capacity and opportunities to attract and manage economic resources for basic and applied research;
  4. Support the development of research activity with long-term investments for the creation of organizational and technological structures.
